25th Anniversary of the Pyramid Hill Lights, a Spectacular Holiday Light Show for Families

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum is excited to celebrate the holidays with families at the Pyramid Hill Lights holiday light show, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024!

Trees covered in holiday lights illuminate a roadway where cars drive through

November 15, 2024 through January 5, 2025, this magical event spans 75 acres of breathtaking lights and festive displays. For a quarter of a century, Pyramid Hill has illuminated the season with a mesmerizing holiday light show that has become a tradition for many families, and this year promises to be extra special.

Highlights include:

  • A new route for visitors to explore this season

  • New prepay option for faster entry

  • The return of the Bombshells of Cincinnati to yarn bomb Candy Cane Lane

  • Light projections by Cincinnati artist, Doug Borntrager

  • Holiday game for the kids

Tuesdays to Thursdays: 6PM – 9PM

Fridays to Sundays: 6PM – 10PM

Closed on Mondays, expect for December 23 when the light show will be open to offer special holiday hours

Pyramid Hill Lights is set-up entirely by the Park staff, and has become a family tradition for many. “We begin setting up the lights in August, because with over a million lights and a small, in-house team, it takes several months to create the lights show. It is a full team effort to put on the Lights every year and we love that we can be part of long-standing family traditions.” says Sarah Templeton Wilson, Executive Director of Pyramid Hill. This year, the Park will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day to give that same staff time to celebrate with their own families.

“We’re thrilled to mark this milestone anniversary,” says Templeton Wilson. “With the

new route and exciting changes, this year’s show honors our past while offering something fresh for both new and returning visitors.”

One change this year is that Free City of Hamilton Nights have been discontinued due to traffic safety concerns. The free admission night began in 2020 to offer local residents complimentary access during the pandemic, but the night had become so popular that it was causing long traffic backups on State Route 128. COVID relief funds helped offset costs associated with traffic management are no longer available, which led to the difficult decision to end the program.

Pyramid Hill Lights remains a favorite holiday tradition for families throughout the city and region. The park is honored to be a part of creating unforgettable holiday memories for all. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.pyramidhill.org/events/lights.
