FIELD TRIPS AT PYRAMID HILL

From contemporary sculpture to ancient Greek, Roman, Etruscan and Egyptian artwork, to native plants, nature and the outdoors, there are many opportunities to connect Pyramid Hill’s resources with your classroom learning. We offer self-guided field trips at group rates for preschool, K-12, and college school groups, as well as homeschools, day cares and camps.

Field Trip Rates:

  • $3/student

  • $7/teacher, chaperone, and other adults

To ensure the safety of students and artwork, we require the following chaperone ratios while on site:

  • Grades Pre-K through 1: Minimum of 1 adult per 2 students

  • Grades 2 through 8: Minimum of 1 adult per 10 students

  • Grades 9 through 12: Minimum of 1 adult per 15 students

FAQs:

  • Field trip groups may bring their own lunch and eat anywhere outdoors in the park. Seating is first come first served and is generally available in our pavilion area for up to 35 people or on our museum terrace for up to 15 people. For groups larger than this, groups wanting to eat elsewhere in the park, or groups wanting to eat under the covered pavilion, we advise bringing picnic blankets and following “leave no trace” principles.

  • Schools may pay with cash or check on the day of their visit, or with an invoice to be paid within 30 days from the date of the field trip.

  • If anyone in your group has accessibility needs, please reach out to us regarding accommodations.
